The Power of the First Five Minutes with a client.

In the beauty world, everyone focuses on the end result...shiny hair, glowing skin, sharp makeup, or a fresh set of nails.

But the truth is, the client's experience starts way before you pick up your tools.

It starts the exact second they walk through your door.
A genuine smile, a warm hello, and just a couple of minutes of real conversation can instantly break the ice.
When someone sits in your chair, don't just jump straight into the service.
Take a beat to figure out what they are actually looking for.Ask the simple stuff. What kind of style do they usually lean toward? What makes them feel confident? Are they looking for a total transformation, or just a quick cleanup?

And above all else—just listen.

A lot of times, clients don't even know what they want themselves. A great stylist or therapist doesn't just push ideas; they help the client figure out what makes them feel good.

Solid skills are important. But people always remember how you treated them.
They remember if you actually listened.
They remember if they felt relaxed.
And they remember if they felt safe with you.

A good service might make them happy for the day.But a great experience is what keeps them booking back in.

And almost every single time, that experience is won or lost in the first five minutes.
