Most of us have invested in property at some point in our life, or are planning to.
But the question that always comes up in real estate investment is — "will I be able to sell it and get my money instantly?" It's usually seen as a major disadvantage.

But I am here to highlight it as the greatest strength no one tells you about.

Your brain doesn't treat real estate like cash. When you're planning to buy a car, pay for your children's education, meet a medical emergency, arrange a marriage in the family, or even plan a vacation — you naturally calculate your cash, bank balance, fixed deposits, maybe even your gold. But your plots and flats usually remain in a separate mental category. They are not part of your day-to-day spending calculations. So it remains.

Now think about your family history. What did your grandparents pass on to your parents, and in most cases, what got passed on to you too? Property. Or jewellery. Why? Because it's difficult to sell.

That simple psychology of real estate changes everything. Because it stays untouched, it gets the time to appreciate — for years, sometimes decades. And that's exactly why, for most families, property quietly becomes the biggest portion of their net worth.
