Six years ago,(reference to this pic ) I walked into one of my very first networking events—wide-eyed, unsure, and completely unaware of where this path would take me. I was a naive self, new to the working culture, still learning the ropes of professional interactions.

Years earlier to this , many of my friends—especially my circle of naval officers’ wives—would suggest I join a company, gain some experience, and then decide my career path. But my reality was different. I was deeply involved in looking after my family and kids, putting my own ambitions on pause.

Yet, destiny had its own blueprint for me. What started as casual networking slowly became a silent classroom. Every conversation, every handshake, every introduction became a chapter in my learning journey. I found myself mingling with professionals from diverse industries—media and advertising, software and hardware, hospitality, and more.

Without realizing it, I was gaining knowledge, sharpening skills, and building a foundation that no formal job could have offered me at that time. Networking didn’t just give me contacts—it shaped my perspective, taught me adaptability, and opened doors to opportunities I didn’t know existed. Back then, I didn’t know where I was headed—now, I’m building the road myself.

I stepped into my the networking circles—nervous, clueless, but curious.
I didn’t have a plan, only a willingness to show up.

From a naive beginner to building my own path—still learning, still growing, still showing up. 🌟

I didn’t know where I was heading, but I knew I had to start somewhere.
