Hello friends,

I am Anita Mishra, and I want to share a piece of my journey with you. Born and raised in a small town Chakia, my path was full of challenges, but each challenge made me soar higher and higher.

I started my career at Eureka Forbes as a Customer Relationship Manager. After which I became Tata Group’s first franchisee in Varanasi, it was a turning point in my entrepreneurial journey. With a masters degree in computer application and a diploma from the London School of Cosmetology, I chose to follow my calling for beauty and wellness industry.

Today, I am the proud owner of multiple Lakmé Beauty Salons in Lucknow and Varanasi. I also run Lakmé Academy powered by Aptech, where I groom and guide youngsters who dream of having a career in beauty industry.

After fulfilling my professional desires it was time for me to give it back to society which I am still doing through YAGVI Foundation. Through YAGVI , we have saved , rescued , trained and rehabilitated women, supported little girls and created awareness campaigns on important aspects like health, hygiene, and COVID-19 safety.

God often tests his favourite children in the most difficult ways and gives them the hardest life , it is not because he wants to make things difficult , it is just that he wants them to give bigger responsibilities ..

CANCER : When I heard I had this terrible disease , I couldn’t believe my ears but I decided to not let this disease take over me and I made sure to come out of this terrible phase too.

Now I visit various cancer patients and give them hope to come out of it and celebrate life Today.

Walking the ramp as a cancer survivor was not just a personal victory.

My story is a reminder to all those young girls living in the smallest of the towns that every thing is possible if we dream big.
