Yesterday, one of my teammates said something that stuck with me — “business is a loner’s journey.” And honestly, it is. Most days, it’s just you making decisions, juggling ten things at once, and trying to figure out if you’re doing it right. Nobody claps when you wake up at 5 AM to finish work, and nobody sees the nights you stay up wondering if your next step will work out.

But here’s what I’ve learned — entrepreneurship doesn’t have to feel lonely.

When I became a part of Infiniti Connects, something shifted. Suddenly, I wasn’t the only one struggling to manage time, wondering how to market better, or figuring out cash flow. I realized everyone has their version of late-night worries and silent battles. Sharing those experiences created a sense of relief — like, “okay, it’s not just me.”

Community also gave me accountability. When you’re on your own, it’s easy to delay tasks or keep doubts to yourself. But when you’re surrounded by people who push, encourage, and sometimes lovingly call you out, you grow faster. I’ve picked up strategies that I’d have never thought of alone, and just as importantly, I’ve had others remind me why I started in the first place.

And let’s not forget the emotional balance. Entrepreneurship can mess with your head — the highs are very high, and the lows are painfully low. Having a tribe that celebrates the wins with you and helps cushion the losses makes the journey less of a rollercoaster.

So yes, running a business might begin as a lonely road. But when you find your community — people who get it, who share openly, and who genuinely want to see you win — it stops being just about survival. It becomes about growing together.

That’s why I hold on to the idea that while business might feel like a loner’s journey, the right people turn it into a shared adventure. And for me, Infiniti Connects has been that community. In my own journey as a home baker in Lucknow, it’s become the ingredient I never knew I needed
